Kristen N. Reed

Mrs. Reed is a Partner, outstanding trial attorney and heads the Appellate Practice Department. She participated with Kenneth Shapiro in the successful appeal of the landmark case, Tutrani v. County of Suffolk, before the New York State Court of Appeals. In 1993, she joined the firm as a legal secretary, then worked for the firm while in law school. Upon graduating Hofstra University School of Law, she began her career as an attorney.
What makes Mrs. Reed unique is that she has worked for insurance companies and defended numerous personal injury cases involving car accidents, slip and falls, trip and falls, construction accidents, dog bite cases and so much more. Currently, Ms. Reed represents individuals injured through the neglect of others and takes on the big insurance companies who she has represented in the past. She has also fights for employees whose rights have been violated in the work place through sexual harassment, discrimination, or wrongful termination. She obtained a million dollar verdict in favor of employees who were harassed in the work place.
Mrs. Reed served as an Adjunct Professor at Nassau Community College and as Associate Counsel to the New York State Fraternal Order of Police. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Mrs. Reed also volunteers as a head coach for PAL lacrosse and the LI Jr. Field Hockey program.
